Music Update: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Medley

Among the songs played in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time were many famous tunes that had a profound effect on the future of the series.

We’re using those songs in an extravagant medley here—it’s the preeminent Zelda listening experience!

And to think this will be played in-game. I think that’s just fantastic.

Wow, that really rocked. God I can't wait for this game.

Huh. That is sickening. In a good way. But... yeah.

They're definitely pushing sound quality in this game too.

Ah, so her back was that open in TP as well. I guess nobody just noticed because you never look at her from behind.

Zelda's Lullaby ^ ^ Epona's Song. I don't think I will ever forget those. What an awesome game that was. Although they should be scolded for not giving the Ocarina enough play time. What is that a Violin, Piano, DRUMS, and a horn (don't recall which horn, I think the one with the long brass tube that you slide in and out) in there?!! Heck they gave that damned horn more time that the Ocarina!!!

 Well it is a full orchestra...can't expect an ocarina to play the whole time.  And that was just a clip from the soundtrack...the full medley will possibly have more ocarina.   I mean...you think that short of a song would do well in the background while you fight?  It'd repeat and get old fast...it's probably got another 3 or 4 minutes on the track, along with all the other songs we've heard.

Well, at least in the case of the Zelda song, I may do what I did with Baten Kaitos, start the music, not do anything in the game, and let that be the background for a while.
