Snake has every right to be in this game. His very first appearance was on the NES (two titles). This was a fabulous idea. Hopefully we see a few more character additions/surprises like this.

It's great to see new gameplay footage as well...any little details in how the game will play interests me. Looks as smooth as ever.

Ok, after watching the first video a couple more times, the Hype factor is WAY up!!

I mean, did you see Snake grab Mario and throw him down? Crazy kicking action? Shields? Agh!

Damn. This level has everything. It starts out as a cage match, but with destructable walls? And with 3 Metal Gears, a spotlight, and wacky advice? I'm almost as pumped up now as I am for Smashville and the Bridge of Eldin.

 Actually, the first Metal Gear came out on the MSX2 before it was ported to the NES.
