Nintendo's policy has always been "work on the game until it's perfect. We don't release unfinished games." So that's that.

Its sad that now people expect updates and patches for console games. One of the great benefits of consoles used to be that there was no need for a patch since it worked on every machine. Since Microsoft joined and Sony went the way of the super computer, we are now having to put up with incomplete games, and spending an extra $20 for maps that should have been included with the original game.

I so hope nintendo continues to crush Microsoft and PS3, so next time around they realize the games must be better and not need patching down the line.

and back on topic, as stated above, even with the a few unbalanced characters, most people don't care. The only person i really hated was Fox and Falco, but no one i knew played with them.

Awesome update!!! I am starting to think that Shadow Mario might appear as an Assist Trophy since they put in FLUDD and the Delfino Island stage.

The Pokemon Stadium 2 looks good as well.

nice updates! I'm glad it's a new stage and not a past stage. This looks a lot better than the one from Melee.

Shadow Mario? Nobody cares about him...he was a lame enemy added to Mario Sunshine.

I am only saying that they are putting a few elements from Sunshine so there is a chance that he could appear... unless he is hated as much as you say he is :)

I actually thought he was interesting at first, until I realized who he actually was. I do agree that he was a lame enemy though, he really got boring and repetitive after some time.

Oh, the time where I live is already almost as late as when you guys get the update. Better go to sleep so I can wake up early for Japan Time. =P

So wait, Mario's Spin Attack is a normal attack now?

I bet it's just pressing A when midair. They showed it in a video once.

Because he still has his fireball move, that's confirmed.

And after seeing his Spin Attack in a video, it can't possibly be his Up-B move, because it didn't lift him into the air much.

So yeah. I bet it's A while midair.

I doubt that. I think his arial A will still be his kick. I think it might be up or down and A while midair. but I'm only guessing...and I think I'm right. >_>

I, too, think it will be aerial only. I guess it is part of Sakurai's plan to be more flexible with aerial combat (more moves-air only).
