Sure, that's a game that easily could be a million seller, but could it sell much more beyond that?? Could it affect console sales??

I'm asking this because I consider that it won't sell very much. The DS versions combined sold spectacularly but since the experience on the Wii would be different and you wouldn't be able to play it if you're not at home I believe people won't be really that interested in the game, although Nintendo could always make really cool connectivity options between the DS and Wii versions of the game, and that would attract a lot of the people that already own the DS versions.

I think it would sell a few million (one of them would be me) as long as there was DS connectivity. Imagine taking the dogs 'out' in the DS version, playing with them and doing the regular DS actions, and then bringing them 'home' to the TV where you can do more advanced stuff. That'd be AWESOME!

It would be the first and only good pet simulation game for Wii. We'll I'm 100% sure it will be much better than the others!

The problem with a Wii version, is that a lot of people will have a real dog at home. However, there's still lots of potential. Nintendogs would still sell great if they add lots of stuff you can't normally do with your dog like dog shows have ds connectivity and wifi so you can visit your friends 'dog' and your dogs can play, etc.

Now Nintendolphin... that's something you won't have at home or Nintendinosaur for the boys.

Maybe Nintendodo! having an extinct bird as pet would make you very interesting with the ladies!!

 I slit my dog's throat when I got Nintendogs: Best Friends Edition.  If another Nintendogs came out, we'd have mass graves of dogs across the nation.

That's just sick. And I don't mean "so sick it's funny". 

I am a Nintendo fan but will not ever buy a Nintendogs title. It sells so much that if people keep buying it the dogs will see whats happening and then revolt. It will be just like Animal Farm but with dogs instead of pigs.
