I think it would sell a few million (one of them would be me) as long as there was DS connectivity. Imagine taking the dogs 'out' in the DS version, playing with them and doing the regular DS actions, and then bringing them 'home' to the TV where you can do more advanced stuff. That'd be AWESOME!
Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
