Being a GTA hater I must say its awesome. I liked 1/2 but I hated 3 and now, finally I like number 4 a lot!

 Edit: MGS4 could be very good, always hated the series but GTAIV put me in a good mood to buy it. Aww shucks, pop another sale down for opening week.

In terms of graphics, yes MGS4 cutscenes are far better than the gameplay. And I probably agree that other gameplay in games looks better(KZ2, GOW2). But MGS has always been about awesome cutscenes. And Gameplay wise you cant compare them.

So xboxer u mean the cutscenes are awesome graphically and the gameplay is not? let me remind you tat in any mgs series including mgs4, all cutscenes are real time, means the graphics of gameplay and cutscene are the almost same. Both are generated by the same game engine and are not pre-rendered.

if you observe the video carefully, cutscenes are switching to gameplay scene without pauses. the camera just turns to the gameplay view effortlessly and smoothly.

pls, even if u wanna do the bashing and trolling thing, search for strong evidences, think logically and make reasonable comments. you are embarrassing the professionals (eg st@rcr@ft) haha

MGS4 graphics look OK. Yes it's colorless and I don't like that everything has green hue, but maybe it's just me. Models, characters - they are great. After seeing the first 12 minutes ... hmm ... it looks to me as old MGS games. Too much cut scenes. I don't like MGS and I prefer Splinter Sell. But different people like different things. In my opinion if you want a good stealth game and you don't want to be interrupted all the time by cut scenes choose Splinter Sell. If you more like great stories and "like movie" games choose MGS.

Xboxer, do you make love to your xbox? You certainly seem to have a hard-on for it

 I'd put my money on GOW2 over MGS4  for GOTY

*both will be better games from GTAIV btw...
