MGS4 is looking disopointing, people are expecting to much I suppose.

Take out the 90% cut scenes etc and look at the small bit of gameplay and the graphics look very average and colorless certainly no better than COD4....

Now compare actual gameplay of Gears 2 and it looks even less impressive.

Please give your honest opionion fanboys need not apply (I.e darthdevidem01 who starts off pointless biased anti Gears 2 posts)

Well, you're not speaking for me, that's for sure. MGS4 looks absolutely awesome to my eyes, and I'm looking forward to it a great deal; far more than GTA4, in fact (and that's saying something for me, as I love GTA).

Yes, Gears2 looks fun, but that has about as much impact on the assured awesomeness of MGS4 as I do on Chinese politics.

In short: comparing them seems pointless to me; they are different games catering to different tastes on different machines. You play what you like, I'll play what I like.
