The 360 sold 25k copies there last week.

That's more than 8 times what they sold in Japan and more than 40% of the NA sales of the week.

Is the 360 a big hit in Russia or in some others countries we don't know of ?



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Yes, this mystery needs an answer.

I've heard ioi say Others/other is supposed to be mainly South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong for those X360 sales. But knowing that these are extreme PC countries, I'd say that any numbers above 5000 per week for the X360 need a good explanation to be believable.

I always had doubts about how accurately ioi is tracking the HW sales in namibia. I think he has some serious quality issue there.

Ahh... I had a feeling the Korea number would be quite low. 150k (S Korea) compared to the total of 1,100.000 X360s in the Others/other cathegory doesn't explain much.

"n stuff like that", hehe. "Stuff" like the Middle east accounts for 0 X360/PS3s sold because they aren't officially released there (all sales are imports from other regions). Maybe ioi counts them as sales for Others/other, but in any case the Middle east and India are very very small next-gen console markets.
