Actually the famous Leeroy video is a re-enactment of an original, slightly different goof-up. I've never played WoW myself, but after been told of all the details it's pretty obvious it's not real. For example the guy the video follows (not Leeroy himself) intentionall runs through the entire dungeon to aggro every single creature, and some of the things they plan like casting Divine Intervention on the Paladin is totally stupid. Apparently it's supposed to be an advertisement for their clan, as well as a parody for people who plan their games too much (23.5642%, repeating of course).

Also, they could've just let the idiot kill himself, and then resurrect him. Would've saved a lot of trouble. =P
