My favorite series is mgs while my friends is halo. Which one do you think is better and why?

This seems like a fight of genres, which would be totally based on what type of game you like.

OT: I like MGS more.

Halo is not that great, but it's better because I don't like sneak games.

I tend to go for MGS more than Halo. I just prefer the gameplay, characters, and the storyline. Halo has a great set of games, though.

Halo all the way. MGS is a cool movie to watch with the cut scenes and all...but I find the game quite flawed.

Halo on the other hand has unlimited replay value thanks to multiplayer.

MGS has better story tho...

Apples and oranges...on that note MGS for me.  I've played MGS1, 2, and 3 (haven't played portable ops), as for Halo, I've played 1, first hour of 2, and 3.

MGS is my personal favorite. so is halo......

This kind of comparison is like comparing a chimp to a squirrel.

I totally can't compare these games... they are completely different.

MGS is my favourite game of all time so I'm inclined to lean towards that series. I have however, had many great hours playing Halo and love that series too.
