UNLESS the Ps360 sales before GTA Iv's launch that we were saying included early boosts....these sales aren't great

Oh and 360 is in BIG trouble

Ps3 will manage to outsell it by 45- 50K this week

Because it was predictable this would be a low supply week for the Wii.

There will be a MASSIVE flood of Wii's for the Wii Fit launch.

Drops all around.

Although as we know Wii sales are based on supply.  Actually suprised they are that high this week as normally when sales are high one week Wii often drops below 360 and PS3 the next.

Not really surprised.
No GTA4 NA bundle = a lot of the people that bought GTA4 and needed a console for it actually bought it the weeks leading to GTA4 or the week it was released.( remember the last 2-3 weeks NA hardware was higher)

Others has bundle and the hardware boost happens the week GTA4 is released and the weeks after...

Lets not forget that PS360 averaged 60k each one month ago and then progressively got up in the weeks leading to GTA4 release with no other big titles coming at that time so it must have been GTA4 buyers purchasing their console in advance... 

 



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

All numbers are quite low. It could be a consumer backlash from a rediculously high week a week ago.

Actually I call bullshit on any type of shortage from 360. as this chart here

360 has been selling at steady levels. We all can agree there are no shortages now. If there were shortages levels would dip lower. Also Ps3 definitely had no shortages. The 360 line and Ps3 line are very similar.

I can't believe people thought that GTA4 was enough to raise steadly PS360 sales.
With PS2's userbase the best sales GTA managed to sell about 17M.
Within this week will reach about 7M in a 31,5M userbase.
Looking at those numbers you can't expect such a raise in sell in the long run.
