Excellent sales for all three. Drops for PS360 are expected and not unusual after such a huge release (so please, no one come in here and scream "oh my god! PS360 sales are collapsing, down almost 100k from last week!). The only loser this week is the PSP.

I'm not sure if a PS3 needs a pricecut at all... If its selling so well in America & Europe, why cut the price?

Maybe in Japan they should give away free PS3's, that might help the Japan numbers

Of course there are many many people waiting to buy a PS3 until another pricecut, but there are also many many people who are buying PS3's every single day.

Just my thoughts on it is all

 PS3 needs a global price drop. A $299 PS3 will sell great, 200k+ weekly. If they can implement software BC it'll sell even better, if they can do all that and launch the slim PS3 then the PS3 will probably be able to compete with the Wii in terms of weekly sales.

 I think many people stick to 1 console. So doing better than XBOX is not good enough.. rather Sony has to start taking a considerable lead too.. so that it has more PS3 owners and more developer start making games for PS3.. I think when a game comes and you want to play it you won't wait for the price drop.. u will find the best possible in your price range... and PS3 is surely above the price range of many many people..So in my view it is surely loosing potential customers when they will finally have a price cut... But maybe it will make their losses less...

So they have to balance between the number of console they want to sell and the losses they can afford..

When MGS 4 releases the PS3 will most definitely dominate the chartz for a while.

I think he was referring to the 360. It (The PS3) will be able to rise above the Wii for maybe 2-3weeks (def 1) because of the bundle, but then it will be back to the same-ol same-ol...................When is christmas again?
