The people who are saying they would not buy a PS3 until it's cheaper should be put under "none", as of right now, if the Wii never came out, they would still not have purchased another console.

If it weren't for the Wii I would buy the PS3 eventually, but certainly not until late 2008 or 2009

i always bought nintendo and sony consoles every gen, so i would've bought ps3

I'm gonna say that the 360 is way better than the PS3 RIGHT NOW.

When FFXII, WKS, and MGS come out, I might change my tune, but still, it will need those games if it wants to equal the 360 at this point.

A high end PC beats them both, cause most 360 games are on a PC, but since my PC semi-sucks, I got a 360, PS3, and traded my Wii for the time being, and plan to buy a new one for ToS2.

That's my story in a nutshell.

The 360 rrod is scary, but when you really set down with one and comb the library there is a huge, huge, huge amount of content there that's not available on any other console.

For instance, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, Ninja Gaiden Black, Fable, Psychonauts, and Indigo Prophecy are all available for Download on XBL, which I never knew till I owned the thing.

All consoles are in good position for this point in their lifecycles though. 

This is interesting because if you asked me at the end of '06 my answer would have been that I would choose the 360 over the PS3. Now i'm planning on buying a PS3 soon since I want to grab a BR player eventually and it seems obvious at this point a vast majority of titles are going multi-platform this generation and exclusives are fewer in number. Count that as whatever vote you want....

I would stick to the PC at least 2 more years. Right now, the HD consoles do not have enough exclusives titles worth my time (this is a opinion).

 OK, fair enough.  The entered the market earlier due to Nintendo's strategy and without the Wii they may not have purchased a console until much later.  On a side note, is this really Blue Ocean then?

Bit hard to get a clear answer from some posts but as of now, stands like this.

Hmm, I wouldn't even be here at VGChartz if the Wii didn't exist. Probably still be playing my crappy PC RTS games.
