Overated Football Team: Liverpool - havent wont the premiership for 20 years, but still can talk for hours about how great they are, its time they realised theyre no longer a top team.
Overated Player: Steven Gerrard - Great for his club, but for England he hasnt put in any where near enough effort for ages, id rather see Lampard for England anyday, at least he know what passion is.

Magic played with Kareem Abdul Jabar, James Worthy, Byron Scott, etc. etc. I'm not dissing Magic but Lebron isn't playing with any other Hall of Famers.

Hard to call the team with the most World Cups overrated, really.  As for Shevchenko, he has a fantastic record in Ukraine, Italy and in European competition, but at Chelsea he was forced to play out of position almost every match he was involved with.  Hopefully he can go somewhere where they appreciate his talents enough to use them to full effect.  And lots of great players have had trouble trying to adapt to new leagues...how many English players do you see playing outside of England?

I know! Every season Liverpool are serious title contenders and end up finish 20 points below the 1st placed team! Liveprool fork out immense laods of cash every year on players and get rid of the ones thatve been there for 1 year and still lose, a prime example is benayoun, voronin, skyrtel, and dudek.

brazil were the most overrated team last world cup and you know it
both the strikers were nowhere near good form ,yet people made them favorites in front of stronger squads like argentina,france,italy who had players in top form
i dont think world cups won in the past make you an automatic favorite
otherwise, would you say real should win the champs league every year,even with a weak squad?
and david beckham played pretty well for real, even in his first season(not nearly as bad as shevas first season).and the reason english players dont usually go overseas is not necessarily difficulty in adapting. its natural for a player to want to keep playing in his country(doesnt apply to dutch,portugese,brazilian and argentines and the french have arsenal as a home away from home)

Football: Wayne rooney (way over priced) when he touches the ball commentators go wild! Prolific striker with 12 goals(i think) and cant do a short pass to save his life:D Rooney with the back heel omg that was amazing!

Andrew Johnson also deserves a mention, the man with blistering pace who is a vulture and a true goalscorer.( yeah right)

As far as underrated playes go id have to go with lescott, hes and awesome defender and id have in my team any day of the week.

Lamp frankard?!?!?! hes not a bad player, everyone hates him and they do not know why....kinda like sonic. Hehe theres a facebook group about mcongratulating the guy that attacked him.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. He scared to fight the top fighters because they either "dont bring enough money in" or he doesn't want to help out their career.
