Just wandering how the sales of first 4 months of  2008 of all consoles has changed your estimates of 2008 from the one you had on 1st January 2008..?

I initially thought that PS3 would have 10 - 11 million sales now i think even after delays of few games it might manages to break 14 million.

For XBOX 360 i expected around 10 million and now i think it just might touch 12 million.

For Wii, it was always supply constraint so it will remain so... so the first 4 month sale doesn't change that much..

How abt u.?

the only thing i am sure of, the wii sales depends on how many they produce. i predict 25 million for wii. 13 million ps3 and 10 miilion 360.

Wii will sell over 25 million for the year.
PS3 will sell between 15 to 16 million for the year
360 will sell between 10 to 11 million for the year.

Expected:

360: 8M
PS3: 11-12M
Wii: 18M

Now:

360: 10M
PS3: 14-15M
Wii: 21-23M

seriously people if your saying Ps3 will sell 14 - 15 million...your nearing Ps2 level sales...so be wise & careful

my estimates changed to (after strong wii sales in april)

25 million this year

After VERY STRONG Ps3 sales (in EU/NA)

13- 14 million

After 360 price cut in EU

9 Million

didn't the ps2 sold about 20 million in its best years?

Mine haven't changed at all. (Prediction in my sig)

I could tell from how well the PS3 sold at christmas that it was going to have a much better 2008 than 2007.

I may be slightly low on the 360. It depends how much a NA price drop makes.

Wii depends on supply, but I can't see it doing much more (or less) than what I predicted.

I think my initial estimates are about right still, will just have to wait and see how it all works out :D

25M Wii (actually i was expecting a big boost in sales compared to last year: I wouldn't change my predictions)
14M PS3 (it's doing much better than expected: i had taken into account a boost..but not this kind of boost)
11M X360 (again i was expecting a growth in
year to year..and probably 11M sold wasd a good prediction)

i'll keep my sign untouched though...i still think that guessing 2 consoles out of 3 would be a nice prediction
