Forums - Gaming - gametrailers comparisons are lies both versions of grid video are the ps3

I think that we should wait to see how they respond to it before forgiving them.

I'm not saying people should overreact and go crazy, but I'd be willing to say 'whatever' to this if they can explain how the PS3 footage that has the 'Xbox 360' label on it looks better than other footage if they're both from PS3 footage where the footage used for the Playstation 3 'version' looks similar of what seems to be the trademark of a multiplatform PS3 game, things looking washed out and not as colorful.

One way I can give them the benefit of the doubt is by seeing the actual comparison video and the PS3 footage of the 360 version does look kind of similar to the other PS3 footage. However, since the actual comparison was taken off of Gametrailers, the video put on youtube was hard to really tell differences in areas from being a low quality youtube video.

Yeah... i'm going to agree with Ben give them the benefit, and say they just screwed up the part at the end.

Rather then jump on a fanboy overaction train of OMGODZ BIASZ!

I could understand it if both parts looked equal. In that case it would be quite natural to think they just screwed up.

But yeah, let's wait to see what they say (if they say anything at all).

According to the front page of the N4G.com website, Gametrailers are deleting any forum thread which proves their comparison was biased.

There goes the trust in yet another site :?

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Man I actually defended them in that whole RGB full vs. limited comparison months back. I'd like to believe this was a editing mistake where for a small portion the PS3 footage was placed over the entire screen instead of intentionally misleading viewers but that doesn't seem likely at all. Boo-urns indeed.

guys people got it posted on n4g.com

here is the link:

I have been posting it since lastnight on the very 360 biased site Maxconsole (from my experience anyways). I even reported the news 2 more times today.

As expected each and every member at that site completely blew me off with zero response while the site continued showing new GT 360 videos.

I don't see how anybody can tell anything from the youtube video. The quality is so crap that when it went switching back and forth at that point it looked identical. It didnt' look like any intentional "degrading" to me.

I'll just wait to see what GT says before commenting further. It's seems kind of far fetched to think something like this was intentional when it is so obviously spotted. It is kind of funny to see how quick the console warriors are ready to jump at something that can be easily explained as a simple editing mistake.

Look at the crashes. PS3 version drives in a straight line and car just hits the wall and drops down.

Look at the "supposed" 360 version. Car drives in on an angle and the car flips, rolls, etc... to show obvious physics superiority. Yet it is still the PS3 version.

And before that crash it showed the "360" version running into the wall the exact same way.  I'm still skeptical of calling anybody out on this until more is known.

Well, I'll never believe there compare videos any more.
