I can't believe so few people on here smoke. Or at least don't admit it.
I had a friend at highschool who was starting to smoke pot when he was 15. He got slower and more relaxed all the time. Seriously I think its one of the worst drugs around. Not because its especially dangerous but because its totally underrated. I'd much rather smoke and die with 60 on lung cancer than to be so slow and relaxed with 21. And no smoking pot once in a while won't do anything to you but don't do it too often. |
Dunno, I smoke a ton of pot and I think I'm doing fine... Sometimes there are other reasons. I know a lot of people that thrive yet they smoke a lot of pot... Here's some examples:
1. My brother. He's a lead project engineer at one of South Africa's biggest banks. He earns a top salary and is very good at his work. One project he was in charge of was designing the new chip that they put in the credit cards. He's been smoking for 18 years and smokes several times a week as well as a lot on the weekends. He's also done many other drugs (which I don't agree with btw) and he's very happy living in a small house on one of the most beautiful settings in the world.
2 and 3. My two programmer friends. While they didn't fare that great at University (despite both being very brainy), they have veeery nice jobs as programmers and have to do some heavy coding for their job. They both smoke a lot yet they are managing their job very well and earning large salaries that will only increase with experience.
4. My Physics friend. He's got dreads, goes to trance parties, does fire-poi and looks like your typicle hippy. Yet he's doing he's MSc in Space Physics and recently went to Antarctica and Europe on research trips with the money being thrown at him
5. Me. I'm doing ok considering I'm smoking tons of pot. MSc in Nuclear physics.
So how about that?
