Forums - Microsoft - RUMOR - MS showing off Wiimote-like controller next week, alongside Banjo 3

I look forward to how this will turn out...

So that I can laugh when MS messes up a much-awaited game.

More than this 'X-mote', I´m looking forward to seeing if RARE still has relevance and what it takes to make a truly great game like they used to.

Ditto. The only thing I care the X-Mote does is work with Halo Wars.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

The only game I care about is Star Wars - Force Unleashed.

Now Guitar hero/Wii Fit/Rock band all prove that people are still willing to buy a peripheral with a game. So im sure people are willing to pick up a controller to use with THAT game.

LIGHT SABERS BABY!!!

Im done.

Tease.

What do you think, the 3mote will come bundled with BanjoSports. And for Christmas 09 Microsoft will release HaloFit with the XBalanceboard. This is what Microsoft do, that's how 90 % of their products are developed.

They are a little more original on names, if not software.

Maybe Halo Boot Camp. Do all you basic training to be a well oiled fighting machine. It comes with the Halo workout gym and health monitor. Includes sensors to measure your heart rate from your toes.

the thing is the wii was/is fresh and differnt this is just a response to the wii mote and wont really fit in to th target market for the 360.......its just not set up to win  but if it does i will gladly eat crow

I hope this happens, just because if it does, it's sure to bomb on the 360, and the next logical choice for the company is to port the game to the Wii in order to make use of a motion controller than people are willing to buy.
Er, Banjo Kazooie is owned by Microsoft, it wont be ported to the Wii.
That's what they said about Viva Pinata, mwahahaha!

Seppukuties is like LBP Lite, on crack. Play it already!

Currently wrapped up in: Half Life, Portal, and User Created Source Mods
Games I want: (Wii)Mario Kart, Okami, Bully, Conduit,  No More Heroes 2 (GC) Eternal Darkness, Killer7, (PS2) Ico, God of War1&2, Legacy of Kain: SR2&Defiance

My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.

This will be the same as the eye-toy. It will be used in a few games, but certainly won't be a system seller. The Wii has already become the "mainstream" console this generation. With Wii Fit, that will only accelerate.

Point being?  VP wasn't ported to the Wii.  There's a DS version, but that's only because Microsoft doesn't have a handheld and they wanted to grow the brand.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

PS3 has now taken off and just keeps on gaining momentum..M$ will need this now

Well they are showing GeoW 2 in half an hour and Fable 2 next week amid a climate of increased year-over-year sales and multiple upcoming exclusives.

Lets wait a while before declaring vehemenently that Microsoft NEEDS something shall we?
