Nooo poor Hans :°( ... I know he's a pathetic and utterly useless character but he's from Squad 7 nonetheless.
The worst part about chapter 11 is that we'll see it again in the anime version of VC and it'll probably be 100 times more tear-jerking than the game.

I agree. That fight was so annoying. Took a long time to beat especially taking out those bunkers and grabbing that last camp. I never cared for Isara though. If it was someone else like Rosie, I would've cared.
wow this game is addictive, just like advance wars when i had a gba. I just couldn't put it down.
chapter 5 question
what is the best way to do this? i cleared it with a C earlier, determined I could do better but got a C again. I saved it now, just curious as to what other people do that got them a better rank.

Seriously the mission wasn't that hard just tedious. The most annoying thing was the two tank at the end, in the end I just ran past them with Rosie and kill the camp defender instead. (By now everyone should have learnt to cherish the defend, evade and caution orders ~_^)

The easiest way to clear this with A grade is to use the 'side team' to infiltrate the base rather than force your way through the front with the tank. Here's an extreme example of a 2 turn wins using only 2 scouts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDmFm8C33uU&feature=related.
Do not look at the above video if you want to figure out the exact detail for yourself. Assault trooper and lancer can also be used but after the first attempt I never touched my tank on this mission again.
Is chapter 11 the beach one? I didn't have too much trouble with the beach one. I did just skip those tanks at the end though, I was all like "Hell NO!" and then I had Aika sneek around the back while vyse and rosie kept the shock troops entertained.

Ty the Immortal made me do that fight like 5 times. I have to kill everyone in my battles, unless it's just impossible. I used grenades to try to take him out and numerous times, I take out the tree and he wouldn't take much damage. Very annoying.
