Just got done playing the demo. I tried the tutorial mode and love it. I then went and did the skirmish mode and dude it was a breeze. I did get my guys killed a couple of times. Like Wally...lol

But other than that I know what I am going to expect from this game. This is like my first true SRPG that I will be playing and looking forward to enjoying.

Come on now, you're being unfair. VC did 150k in Japan while Disgaea 3 did 110k. Disgaea is also known ip, so most of the sales are going to be from hardcore fans in the first week. VC, I assume, will have legs similar to Jeanne d'arc. Awesome ones (it opened at 6k but went to sell over 200k!!). 

Disgaea 3 also only sold 20k in its first week. This is 90% increase on week one sales!

Seriously this is great news, the story for this game is better than most anime that come out of Japan lately.

Have you watched A-1 studio's other work? Trinity Blood, Birdy Decode during the last season, and this season they have Kuro Shitsuji, and Kannagi (which has awesome animation).

Personally I didn't like Birdy Decode very much, but I definitely enjoyed/am enjoying the other three so there's a good chance they'll do it justice. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I'm pretty sure Trinity Blood was GONZOs work and not A-1s (and I was quite disappointed with the series).

edit: I guess you wanted to say Trinity Soul and not Trinity Blood

I liked A-1s Ookiku Furikabutte (one of the best sports anime ever produced), Sexfriend (my favorite hentai) and Persona:Trinity Soul much more than Birdy Decode and Kuro Shitsuji now, haven't begun Kannagi yet.

ive just done act 4 thank god, it was infuriatingly hard, i only just did it on my 10th turn.

its a spectacular game, i am dissapointed with its sales, hopefully it will pick up bit by bit

Hint: if you run directly forward from your starting position, the wall at the end that seperate you from the tank depo is breakable and you can literally get to the enemy base in 2 turns. (probably one if you spend your point right)

@Videogirl, I've not seen their latest stuff but the earlier Trin and BD i've see (didn't know the studio though, I just saw them). My current fixation is Code Geass.
