Hey, lighten up. I have a Wii. I love my Wii. And I still found that a pretty funny video. Besides, I'm not sure that saying that something is a Chick-Magnet and is worth more than you payed for it can really be considered negative.

Lol, before I watched I was like: ''ZOMG I know it's a conspiracy now! The game press wants Nintendo dead, so they hype GTA IV with the high grades, to kill Wii, with the last thing to be possibly able to kill it! Now the Wii pwned 360 AND PS3 in sales they write something like: Sure, it has teh sales, but it suckzorz...''

Now, I think it's some very nice critisizing humour. The girl-argument was quite funny, and most of the shouldn't keep it arguments were funny as well.
Yet I didn't agree with the one argument a lot of people seem to care about: the online gameplay. I just recently purchased 3 months of Xbox Live to play Halo 3 online, because I enjoyed the singleplayer so much.
Well, I sucked at it. I couldn't even manage to become third or so in random non-ranked recreation matches, how am I ever going to compete in ranked matches, or even worse, higher gaming zones?
Sure it's fun to play online, but a game shouldn't have it as the main playing mode. In my opinion, singleplayer and local multiplayer gaming is far, FAR superior to online multiplayer. If there is online multiplayer, it should be more of an extra, like in Brawl. That game is yet to be released in Europe, so I haven't played it yet, but it seems like fun to me to play through the Subspace Emissary some times, finally managing to complete it at the highest level, then playing some 1000 hours local multiplayer with friends, and maybe some time online.

He had some valid points, but the DVD argument I hoped was sarcasm. Oh yeah, chicks do dig the Wii. It's completely true.

They were actually pretty true. The only reason I am keeping mine is because I love the first party titles. Third party games are bad and look like they will be for a long time to come.

With the exception of Segas light gun arcade ports :P

The big "NAH," with some flatulence in the end, was with regard to trading your Wii in for a PS3.

Even in the beginning of the video, he says something along the lines of why he hasn't been playing the Wii lately.

I thought it was decent except for the no 3rd party games part. Sure they may be ports, but Bully, Godfather, Okami, RE4 all use the Wiimote in ways that feel restrictive when using an analog stick. New games ARE coming and fall will tell all.

It is incredibly easy to disagree with actually. At least 2 of his 5 reasons to trade it in were non-sensical bullshit. The video was clearly a joke though so it doesn't really matter. Not a funny joke unfortunately, but a joke none the less.
