 Isn't GT5 supposed to come out around Feb/Mar '09?

I bet the guys at Epic are thinking the same thing. Hec, their up against all these ps3 titles so they need to make Gears 2 kick some ass.

From videogamer.com

The booth was manned not by staff from developer Guerrilla Games, but by SCEE staff, staff who were perfectly knowledgeable about the game but perhaps a little ill-equipped to answer questions on the delay. "It's to do with our publishing schedule," said one. "We saw our line-up for 2008 and thought we could push it back." In other words, Sony doesn't want its two premier shooters, Killzone 2 and Resistance 2, going up against each other and suffering from reduced sales as a result.

Makes sense not to have both Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 going up against each other and getting less sales as a result (although i'm sure each would still do perfectly fine) but oh well, means a hopefully great shooter for early next year :D

KZ2 should still have good sales, due to massive marketing, though I doubt on the scale of GTA. There are adverts in most programmes, and I saw like 5 ads on the way to school (admitedly I go across like the whole of London)

maybe the truth since Sony wants to get their money back
maybe guerilla is late and need more time to finish their game

Time to Work !

Depending on how the gameplay holds up, I could see it selling as well as Call of Duty 4 for ps3.

Provided the hype can last until Holiday 2009.  Releasing in February could really hurt this games sales.

Well we all knew that . 3 more months for a game like Killzone 2 doesnt gives it a huge qulity boost :?
