aww you guys are right nintendo really does have a HUGE arsenal!!! they really know how to play their cards literaly! maybe sony and microsoft should have spent their time in card making be4 they came into the industry

Yup, Nintendo is the one who came from a game- and toy-making background here .  That's why they're the best at making games that are just 'fun'.

I strongly believe they will announce Kingdom Hearts 3, a new Zelda, a Hard Drive, and either an Animal Crossing MMO (maybe with Mii support) or a Pokemon MMO (Mii support would rock!).

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I was just thinking about something, would nintendo really bust out with something amazing awesome at e3 seeing as though they have like absolutly smashed us with amazing titles for the last few months, all the mario games and now wii fit is hitting shelves its like nintendo is spoiling us to death!!! (not literal death :p i just feel so spoilt!!!!!!!!) and now they say there is more!!! my excitement meter can only take so much! if they kept releasing amazing things will they run out of awesome ideas???

Another take on the same situation ...

Historically, Nintendo has always planned their yearly line-up so that January through March is their weakest quarter, April through September is usually fairly steady, and October through December is usually when their line-up is the strongest; if you look at last year as an example, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and several decent but smaller titles (like Battalion Wars 2) were scheduled for a October through December release.

With how Nintendo works, if they really didn't have a game nearly as big (or bigger) than Mario Kart for Q4 2008 they would have delayed it until Q4 2008 for it to be the "Showpiece" game of the holiday season.

I'm with Rol, a new F-Zero would cause me to cream my pants. As far as the F-Zero X vs. GX debate, I loved both. I just hope there's no techno soundtrack this time around... Just give me Taro Bando and some electric guitars again.

Other than that, I'd love to see a new Zelda, but I think it's too early.

I'm expecting something noteworthy from 3rd parties, though...

third party support.
kid icurus
some sort of MMO (pokemon/animal crossing)
so strange new periphrial ala wii sports/wii fit
RPGs in general as we are lacking severly in that genre
HDD support

Pokemon MMO, SMRPG(Super Mario RPG) remake, Earthbound 2, Donkey Kong Country 4 or a new platformer, Kirby Wii, New Zelda Wii, Pikmin 3, F-Zero Wii, Star Fox 128 and Animal Crossing.

For the 101,042,349,238,409,238,423th time people it's MOTHER 3 and they already said they aren't going to localize it in America. It came out on the GBA more than 2 years ago.

Earthbound 2 doesn't have to be mother 3. It could be a new game in the series.

So then it would be Mother 4.

I'm surprised nobody suggested Luigi's Mansion sequel. Well, that's what you get when John Lucas isn't around. F-Zero sequel would be awesome. To contribute to the F-Zero arguing in the beginning, GX has just awesome tracks, driving Mobius Ring 1200 km/h was something that you don't experience in every game. Although the problem i had with GX was, that the game had a little too much "arcade" feeling in it, instead of "F-Zero magic". Well, that's what you get when you let Sega develope game for you. @HS: Good point. If we assume that the release for christmas market is as big as Mario Kart, that should leave not much options. Zelda, Pokemon, Brain Training game, and that's just about it, since SMG and Brawl are out already. Although, it may be as well a new bridged title.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

The only game that could topple WoW's throne would be a well done Pokemon MMO. If they announce something like that it would be mind blowing!

I'd rather have an FFVI remake since VII was already in 3D, VI would be awesome !

I don't think you have a good grasp at what Wow is these days.

Not saying a Pokemon MMO woudn't be good but would 10 millions people spend over 100 days of their life playing it in a 3 years period, I doubt it..

Wow is beyond polished these days and wow population is a lot more mature in real than some sites would you have believe, I raid 6 days a week 3.h 30m/day and if you look at my 40 guild members or so, 3 are bellow 18 , the average is aged around 25-27 with at least 10 of us above 35....Half of them are not console gamers at all...

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Please elaborate.  That's an interesting point.

Why do people insist on a pokemon MMO, when a singleplayer 3d RPG is much more likely. Think a combination of Zelda with quests, animal crossing (collecting) and pokemon stadium concerning fights - only with a more interactive environment.

On top of that they will likely announce a new colorscheme for the DS.

And I think a Kid Icarus game.

Though I doubt it, a new true Starfox like in the Snes/N64 days would rock my world. Or perhaps they have hired the asian guy and come with a peripheral possible for IR head-tracking...

Becaus you can have that added to a MMo.

Imagine all you already can do in a Pokemon game - now imagine if that pokemon trainers you see during the game are players just like you.

Everyone battling to become a pokemom master, isntead you just fighting an AI.
