Red shells don't home in when you fire them backwards though... don't they just follow the centre of the track?

Yes. It's just like firing a green shell backward. Oh, and Roland doesn't always win. I beat him about one out of three times. How often do you beat him Dan? :p

Were you referring to me?

I guess you meant Ninjaguy Dan.... but my main profile has about 150:100 ratio of wins in Rolands favour.... but that includes early races when Roland had already become excellent and I was practicing. After the first 40 races it was 35:5 in his favour... so since then it has been about 115:95
