Those "children" will be "teens" when this game hit.

What the hell man? Don't even tell me a dev time for a children's game is 2 years

Galaxy took well over 2 years and a lot of people think it's a kids game. Don't think all kids game = quick and cheap development.

What is a "kids game" anyway?  Super Mario Galaxy is colorful, but its difficulty curve is a bit beyond what I'd expect out of any child younger than 10.

It's all rumors. Valve said they'd be interested in a Wii game.

In Valve time that's damn near Duke Nukem Forever time.

 See, that's not what they mean. They aren't setting out to make a game that's kids friendly but also loved by all including hardcore gamers. (like SMG), they are simply setting out to make a KIDs-game.

 

So i'm assuming they will make a simple gesture based game with mini-games for kids. Probably puzzle games since they had quite the success with Portal.

That late. The later the better the game. So don't rush it. If they started and believe on the Wii last 2005 then they are earning money now.

I guess...a game appropriate for kids :3 Doesn't mean it can't be hard because there are a lot of kid appropriate games but are hard. Look at games like...Zack and Wiki :P

yep... just like Valve is known for making KIDS games, right? ;). There is always first for everything. You can not dismiss the possibility for just about anything nowaday
