 See, that's not what they mean. They aren't setting out to make a game that's kids friendly but also loved by all including hardcore gamers. (like SMG), they are simply setting out to make a KIDs-game.

 

So i'm assuming they will make a simple gesture based game with mini-games for kids. Probably puzzle games since they had quite the success with Portal. 

And you know this how?   According to everything I've read, they want a game they, as in the adults, can play with their kids.
