With the hope that ioi will update those numbers as soon as tonight, what do you think will happen?

List your predctions for

 GTAIV (WW)

Mario kart (WW)

Hardware numbers.

 

 

For me:

GTAIV (WW) 4.2 million

Mario Kart (WW): 1.4 million

PS3: 390K

Xbox: 320K

Wii: 370K 

 



Soriku (Feb 10/08): In 5 years the PS3/360 will be dead.

selnor: Too Human I even expect 3-4 mill entire life and 500,000 first day. GoW2 ( expect 7 - 9 million entire life and over 2 mill first day), Fable 2 (expect 5-6 million entire life and 1.5 mill fist day) BK3 (expect 4 - 5 mill sales entire life and 1 mill first day).. Tales/IU/TLR should get to 2 or 3 million! post id: 868878

Letsdance: FFXIII (PS3+360) first week in NA = 286K

Wii: 423K

 there should be around 600-1 million K sold in NA. 400-500K sold in Others and 100K in Japan.

 

So I think it was pretty fair a prediction.

PS3: 300K (130k USA, 160k Others, 10k Japan)
360: 290K (160k USA, 130k Others, ~0 Japan)
Wii: 550K (325k USA, 175k Others, 50k Japan)

EDIT - Added regional breakdowns. Hardware is very hard to estimate IMO. Bundles, promotions, Wii supply in USA...

400-500k in others? Why would it double the previous weeks numbers?

I just realised my GTAIV others prediction was too low considering known day-1 numbers for UK, so I increased it it from 1m to 1.5m. No more changes now, I promise :P
