QT, stop trolling. Blue3 - Do you really expect us to care about some game (Gears3) that's at the very least three years away? Or is this just the latest thing we're supposed to wait for in order for the PS3 to start dominating? I think 3-4 years from now might be a little too late, you know. I couldn't get those links to work without logging in anyway, why don't you post the actual text?

gears was only 10 million to make according to epic and even jokeingly said all companies should use unreal engine 3.

They weren't joking at all. They want homogenious developent environvents for everyone courtesy of themeselves.

 

Also, they were taking bullshit about GOW production costs, seen as they had:

 

unlimited resource access and help from Microsoft

100% free engine and code development courtesy of their internal Unreal 3 development department.

3 years in which to develop the game

unlimited and free manufacturing, sales and marketing from their grovelling publisher (Microsoft)

btw why would it be "good" to see epic not happy with MS?.. sonyfanboy-ism..ya, you would love GoW on PS3 ...ps3 is lacking any fun games and needs all the help it can get.

But I do know that MS has two Gears games signed up as exclusives. So at least two will be made.

Also Bioshock doesn't have online Blue3 it's a single player rpg/shooter. 


Did anyone even read the story he linked? It says why stop at 3...not that there won't even be 3.

Actually all of Microsoft's internal game teams have been working on Solitaire for Vista.

I can agree with your statement that GeoW is better than Halo. But PS3 lacking any fun games is untrue.

 Did anyone try to click on these links? The first requires a login, so we mainly have blue3's word, and the second is broken.

 Aslo, blue3, your question about Nintendo losing 3rd parties in the N64 era is stupid, since the comment you replied to clearly states that Nintendo was dominating when they treated thrid parties badly, and it was after they left that Sony dominated. Try taking some reading comprehension lessons.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
