Considering we have no idea how many bundles they had in the first place this news really doesn't say a lot. Of course PS3 will be moving additional hardware because of GTA, but how much is still to be seen.

I think the PS3 will sell VERY well in Europe. But I think people are underestimating the Xbox 360, it's price will make it VERY compelling to people that want to play GTAIV.

Based on Jersey, small Island just off the coast of France but classed as part Crown Dependencies, basically part of the UK.

They ship mainly to Europe but have a DVD store that ships Region 1 DVDs world wide (although I think this is just a shop to make it easier for UK citizens to get Region 1 DVDs :P)

Oh, Kyros already answered...As Kyros says, they are quite big.

I think when the dust settles both companys will be very pleased with there gta sales and hardware increase. Oh and in south wales(where my family lives and the parts around London where my friends work) have said that shops are selling out of the game with there only being a few copys left. Hardware seems like both are selling really well with sony bundle still being available(but not many left) and the 360 pro selling better than the elite and arcade(some places sold out of pro). Anyway thats what I got from teh couple of calls my friends made and my old man.

I actually don't think Sony paid anything to get the bundle, It might just be a 'good will" move from Rockstar to say.. "Sorry dude, we didn't make it exclusive for you, but you get the bundle outside of NA instead"

I think the better question is.... why couldn't Microsoft buy this deal? Heck, they are already 50 millions in already, what is a few extra dollars?

No way, the bundle will just be a business deal and Sony will need to pay for it. Take Two can use all the money they can get and they're not giving any free rides to Sony.

I agree with Kratos . Many people where holding out for GTAIV to upgrade to curent gen , and many still see the PS to be the GTA console . The 360 has a huge core base and that will help it sell more games , but hardware wise the PS3 will win , and maybe even in the US ...
