Since everybody else has already chosen Smash Bros, I'll go ahead and pick Super Mario Galaxy has the title which can drive most extra Wii sales this year.
Hardcore gaming is a bubble economy blown up by Microsoft's $7 $6 billion losses.

Dont agree, mario strikers charged is the first Wii game with an online mode and is already number 3 for Nintendos online Wi Fi popularity, Batallion Wars is the first nintendo game written specifically for online and has massive amount of online potential - this will sell and massively in my opinion. Also notice Metroid Prime, Nintendo released this for the DS yet found time to add online death matches for the DS - I do feel that MP3 will also have the same type of options.
Top 10 games on the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection - Saturday 26th May (Total activity 911,854)
1. Pokémon Diamond (269,458 players, Japan/US only)
2. Pokémon Pearl (187,864, Japan/US only)
3. Mario Strikers: Charged Football (151,785, Euro only, Wii)
4. Animal Crossing: Wild World (68,100)
5. Mario Kart DS (59,083)
6. Metroid: Prime Hunters (39,700)
7. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker (21,115, Japan only)
8. Jump! Ultimate Stars (20,484, Japan only)
9. Pokémon Battle Revolution (13,003, Japan only, Wii)
10. Tetris DS (12,377)
Those people that think they're perfect give a bad reputation to us who are...
"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony
Once Super Smash Bros. Brawl is released, it is sure to top that chart!
BW2 will have no effect. MP3 could have a decent sales effect if the controls turn out great and it gets hardcore shooter fans to notice the system. However Mario Galaxy and Smash Brawl are the real system sellers. Both holiday releases supposedly, I don't see a shot of the system not having huge shortages comes November and December. Probably the Wii could sell 3 million systems in December just in the US, but I don't see how at this rate that Nintendo will ship more than 2 million for that period.
Actualy you are wrong it will have an effect. 1 more person will buy a wii and that will be me.
You haven't bought one yet? What are you waiting for? Mario to arrive at your door with one? Hurry up and buy one!!!

I agree I mean there are plenty of games that would be bigger than that in my opinon like..........
(these are all games that come out after MP3) (exculdes Mario Strikers Charged,Manhunt 2,Pokémon Battle Revolution,Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
The Games
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
this is if these games do make there 2007 release date.
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games looks very interesting. The concept is awesome; To have Sonic and Mario in one game. But it's going to be just a spin off title.

I agree, Manhunt, pokemon & Resident evil will have a good effect. NiGHTS, No More Heros, My Sims and Mario and Sonic, those could all be amazing or flops as far as sales, only time will tell. I like what I see from no more heros though and think it'll be popular.
Mario Strikers Charged ( is helping sales in Europe, good filler until the inevitable Winnin Eleven is released) Manhunt 2 ( Some consoles sold to mature loving gamers) Pokémon Battle Revolution ( Some consoles to kids and other poke-fans) Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition ( Same as Manhunt 2) The Games MySims ( Could sell a lot of consoles, specially to girls and women, advertisement will be crucial) Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games ( It won´t sale systems, but it will sell at least decently, just based on the characters) NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams ( That is the game with the biggest risk to flop, we haven´t heard good stuff about the current development. I think it needs to wait till 08 to be released) No More Heroes ( Looks very promising, some light-saber freaks may be tempted by it, and it is a sandbox which seems to be popular these days) Project H.A.M.M.E.R. ( Not enough information . I think Disaster has more potential than this one)
