I played ET and it was vomit inducing. No refresher needed but thank you.

^ LOL still disoriented, I cant help if you think that way, even if Im in your generation I will still think the same thing. But all in all, ET wasnt bad its just its not in the right place in the right time when its released. I used to think that way when Im playing karateka on the NES, this is a sh**y game I think to myself since I cant past to the guilottene. 20 years later and after seeing the walkthrough on youtube I know how to go to the guilottene and how short the game was.

Karateka is 10 times better than ET. Ninjabread man is 5 times better than ET. It is horrible though . You are right. I played ET when it came out and still have nightmares. Okay. I'm done here.

Yushire, I was around when ET released and it is horrible. Atari produced 4 million copies because they thought it being ET would sell that many. It's failure was so bad that Atari posted a loss of over $500 million in 1983 forcing the company to sell itself off the next year. Retailer also returned all the unsold copies which Atari buried in a New Mexico landfill.

Ninjabread man, while a flawed game, was actually profitable for it's publisher so much so that a sequel is already in development. I don't think you can say the same thing for ET.

well i was gonna buy ninja bread man because it was £9.99 but decided against it.

regarding ET many say that the worst game, but from what ive played it has to goto "Blam Blam Machine Head" on the sega saturn, that was utterly dire. its the only game where once you start the game up you will in record time turn off the game it is that bad!

presentation : 1/10 - seems to have a start button

grafix             : 1/10 - seems to display colours on screen albiet 4 or 5

sound            : 1/10 - worst sound processing for a cd based game, almost suicidal

playability      : 1/10 - non what soever, worst collision detection, worst physics, worst fmv, you will die for no reason

lastability       : 1/10 - i only give it 1/10 because at least it will take upto a minit for spewing up

summary        : 1/10 yes thats 1/10 the worst game ive ever played, with a monicer as follows who can blame me!

In other news Nolan Bushnell has bought up the  Atari brand and is now working on a secret project known only as ET2 and will be mainly played with bits of cheese....and aliens.

Action 52, Cassette 50, Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing and E.T. are the top 4 worst games of all time. Go look them up, it's incredible how bad they are.

@Viper1-----> Im talking about the game itself, not what it done to the industry. E.T. was just different unlike in other atari 2600 games, thats all. but I respect your opinion, at that time ET was really bad that it buried in wastelands of Mexico. But it doesnt mean that there is no worse games asides from ET. Anyone seen Dragon's Lair from the NES and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide from the NES? Its horrible so is Ninjabread man.
