Steve Kerr should have never brought Shaq over. Nobody in the media liked the deal and now they can't even get to the second round.
Any Phoenix fans here? What do you think? Shaq was 9 for 20 from the line tonight.

What do you expect shaq to do from the line? Hes a career 50% FT shooter. Thats like getting annoyed at Steve Nash for only grabbing 2 boards, you cant expect much more from him.

What you can be annoyed at nash for is yet again allowing Tony P to score all over the court, and also only putting up 3 assists and 11 points; awful stats for him, he lost them that game Im afraid.

Also: CP3 deserves the MVP this year, hes been amazing. Kobe's not been the best player at all, especially not statistically when lebron shat all over him all year.

Kobe has been a team player this year and led a good team to be great. he deserves his first MVP.
C. Paul was excellent this year. but I think he'll place second for MVP. he's still young and will have many more chances for a MVP

To be fair,d o you not agree thats a stupid way to decide who the MVP is? Just because youre young doesnt mean you shouldnt win the MVP if youve been the better player.

Personally the MVP to me is the best player on a good team, i.e a top playoff team. Without Paul and Kobe, each team still has all-stars. Without Lebron, I guarantee the cavs are fighting for the top pick in the draft.

no way take away Chris Paul the Hornets wouldn't even make the playoffs ....CP3 is basically their engine with his assists, steals, passing, and shooting that made players better on his team. As for Lebron he deserves a consideration, but playing in the East probably hurt his chances , while Chris Paul plays in the tough west and manage to help his team capture the second seed and South West division. Anyways my vote for MVP would be Chris Paul its amazing what he can do at 6'0 .

OT: I'm surprised the Sun didn't put up more of a fight was hoping for a longer series . My Rockets won again woot hopefully they can advance past the first round >.

Dallas fires Avery Johnson.
I think this is a great move!

cleveland just lost by 1. I thought for sure the series would have been over by now. Lebron James missed the final shot. sounds too familiar.

Lebron James' final shot was a lay-up!

This just in.
Kevin Durant wins the Rookie of the Year award.
Good choice for a really good player

damn it I was rooting hard for the Hawks too ! this game over :( . Cavs should of had that game sealed 5point lead and they let the wizards come back to tie and win sheesh .

it's going to be a good night for basketball fans.
will cleveland, utah, and boston win and go to the next round?
or will you expect to see 7th game for any of the series?

I'm pulling for Houston, Washington, and Atlanta. go underdogs!

Lakers will have better chance against the teams I'm rooting for. :)

too bad houston is out.
Can't believe boston is still not into the second round.

and the best news today, Kobe Bryant gets the MVP!

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AiGVJbAck94QySrnWoShy7G8vLYF?slug=ap-mvp-bryant&prov=ap&type=lgns

"Bryant averaged 28.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.84 steals while playing in all 82 games despite tearing a ligament in his right pinkie finger in February. A hand specialist recommended surgery, but Bryant decided to put it off until after the Olympics this summer."

He deserves it! though some may not agree.

Go Lakers!
