mm mm, well I'm getting the 360 version not for the better resolution (if true) but for the DLC. But nevertheless if confirmed some fan boys will be in for a shock.

 I'm not sure where it came from, but my guess would be a 360 owner on neogaf with GTA4.  And yes it would be the release version since no one outside of R* has a copy or pretty much seen the game, in its pre release state.
