The Wii is the first gaming console that I have bought new in a quarter century.
To be -- its a box of joy.
I can afford any system and have bought virtually every one used. So for me to buy new -- it must be something special.

From most importance to least
1) Motion sensitivity
2) SSBB SMG MK-Wii MP3, sequels to Pikmin, F zero, animal crossing (ie first party games)
3) Price
4) It links with the DS, which i plan to buy when i get the money
5) Loyalty to Nintendo and a dislike of both microsoft and sony

I imagine the blue light of your Wii is glowing on average for 5 hours a day. I am so glad that I didn't exchange Wii codes with Soriku. He spams my VGC mailbox though.

I love Nintendo; Super Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda, Metroid, are all reasons to own a Wii. Not to mention the Wii Shop Channel, Online Gaming, and the Control System.

Two words. Wii Sports. I played that and though to myself that it had a ton of potential. That and Nintendo always puts out quality games.
