Forums - General - How do people stop themselves from eating a whole sweet?!

Gimme some Fall-themed desserts! I like experimenting with my protein shakes.

Couldn't care less about sweets to be honest.
There are pretty good tasting sweets out there but I can't ever feel the need for sweets or sugary things in general. So it's very easy, I actually can't even remember the last time I deliberately ate anything sweet, maybe in my birthday (which is early April).

Now if we talk about salty snacks or specially meat, yeah, I love that. But if I ever start gaining much weight I just stop eating more than I need and that's it, not really that hard, even if I think about it I just need to remember I decided not to eat it and just don't eat it.

I just don't buy them, otherwise I'll them quickly.

Buy a time lock safe, cut off a small piece, put the rest in the safe ;)

And yeah the excessive exercise is likely more harmful than eating half a pie. Buy smaller pies!

In the state of ("everything is bigger in") Texas? No such thing!

On a serious note: I do try to find the smallest possible portion size for sale because otherwise I'm literally taking three little bites from a dessert and then throwing it away lol. Big waste of money to get the large portion size.

Yeah here as well, 4.2 pound (1.9kg) Costco cheesecake vs the standard 1.3 pound (600 grams) packages that are already far too rich to eat half.

Anyway I rarely ever eat desert, my kids eat everything before I get to it. Teenagers are the best diet plan! I eat my wife's baking as she doesn't use a lot of sugar and fresh fruit so the kids avoid that haha.
