Have you played Mina the Hollower?

And tell me why Mina the Hollower (available on PC, Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S) is the best option? (Maybe besides Undertale or Luigi's Mansion OG... just maybe.)

Threed area in Earthbound
The dark ages in Chrono Trigger, especially Magus
Virtually the entirety of Witcher 3, but especially Hearts of Stone
Little Goody Two Shoes
Animal Crossing NH (does Halloween content in October)

There are quite a few options for a variety of tastes

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

At the moment I am replaying The Splatterhouse series even the 2010 Reboot which I do enjoy despite some long load times and performance issues. I may play some ore action games with horror themes like Lolipop Chainsaw and while I know the game is not good, I kinda like Bulletwitch. Medevil is an old fave of mine and I like the remake. Not sure I will get to them as they are longer than I want atm but Castlevania Lament and Curse on PS2. Darkwatch I might replay. FPS takes place in the old west as a Vampire. Similar note. Evil West on PS5, old west but you hunt vampires.werewolves. TPS. It's a little of both series with the letters GoW. There is the House of the Dead games. I might play HotD remake but HotD will be on Dreamcast. Zombie Revenge isn't the best but I like it. Wolfenstien Old Blood has supernatural fire zombies. Onechanbara Origin is ok and killing zombies. Cotton games are cute em ups and very halloween themed. I might add Deathsmiles to that. Knights Contract is also short B action game.  I doubt I play even half of this but I have some options to think about.

I didn't mention other Castlevanias like 2D as I am in the mood for 3D. Played LoS games not long ago. DMC and Bayonetta do fit but again played those not that long ago. More in the mood for very short and B vibes.

As for Mina. No and I never will.

While not dedicated to Halloween, I always enjoy playing Batman Arkham Asylum around this time. The atmosphere, music, and the Scarecrow levels have a very Halloween-y kind of enjoyment!

Well it’s no wonder you’re always talking about how bad modern gaming is! /s You should give Mina a shot, though I also understand if maybe these 2D Zelda-likes aren’t your “cup of joe”.

If I'm going to do that, I'll usually hook up my PS1, CRT, and grab my RE Trilogy. Sometimes, when I'm done, I'll even get the Dreamcast and do a CV run. Castlevania is good, too, imo. Especially the fourth. Something about that opening and its score just really immerses a person in gothic horror.

You're confusing me with Jackhandy. Hates everything modern. I'm just having a blast with E-Day atm.   Mina just doesn't interest me in the slightest. Just different tastes. Has nothing to do with modern or old.

FTR my fave Zelda games are Links Awakening, Wind Waker and BoTW.

Yea I was mostly joking around with that statement, no worries lol. That’s what I figured. It’s like how I have little interest in playing a game like E-Day right now. I’d much rather give Paper Mario 64 a first play-through as I await my copy of Switch Sports Resort. (p.s. FWIW Mina is directly inspired by Link’s Awakening.)
