Switch 2 for handheld gaming and PS5 for games that are not available on PC. And I only buy physical on consoles.

I started as a console gamer but now it's only PC for me, with my last console being a WiiU.

None of the current exclusives from Sony or MSoft interest me, making their consoles irreleveant to me and, while some Nintendo games still interest me, I'm not going to pay extra for features that I'm not going to use. Heck, I could have gone and used one of the Switch emulators to play those games and I didn't bother to do it.

So yeah, PC only in my case.

PC and PlayStation for now, but there's a good chance I won't get PlayStation 6, because Sony has become such a despicable company. I have a Wii, and once I'm done with the few games I own on it, I might get a more recent Nintendo console, but we'll see. I'm guessing whatever's coming after Switch 2 won't have physical games, so it'll probably be Switch 2. I don't really play a lot on my Wii though, so it might take a long time until I go through even those few games.

My PS5 is probably not going anywhere, so I'll technically play on consoles too, but the fewer console games I have remaining in my backlog, the more of a PC gamer I'll probably be.

Regardless of the state of my console "gamership", PC is my main platform, and that position is very unlikely to at least weaken in the future.

I just like the freedom allowed by PC as a platform. I feel so constrained doing anything on consoles. Whether it's having access to a lot of competing digital stores (because sadly physical on PC is practically dead) or being able to Alt + Tab and do anything while gaming, it's just great. On consoles, it's exactly the feature set provided by the company making the console.

PC and Nintendo, Playstation and Xbox are really not worth it with a gaming PC.
