I saw a comment from a user talking about IQ scores, and I became curious. Anyone got an IQ worth bragging about? :P Or just willing to share? I had an IQ test done last year though I forget how I did…

Last edited by firebush03 - 9 hours agoIs it a US thing? I've never actually got to know anyone who would take an IQ test. I could sure tell someone was intelligent though (but not necessarily smart and vice versa)
Was some years since I did one of them IQ tests. The first one I ever did in my teens I remember getting 112 IQ.
I have later done a few of Mensas test-tests (to see if one have a chance of joining) and all of them resulting in them recommending me taking an official intro test. But i think that pretty much every score they say that since they get income from it. The scores from those test varied between 125 and 142 IQ. Funny enough the highest score I got from Danish Mensas test although I'm Swedish.
I got the highest score of 9 from the Swedish Militaries intelligence test, but i deemed more likely to point a gun towards myself than others so they did not thought me fit for military service.
If I would guess, my IQ is probably around 115-120.
I think mine is in the low 80s or something

I reliably tested in the 140’s. I also have social anxiety, probable inattentive ADHD, and maybe even ASD(nobody actually cared about diagnosing these things in the 90s unless you had developmental issues). I can learn an entire semesters worth of university classes in a week and get a first-class pass, but I basically couldn’t really function as a proper human being until maybe well into my 20’s. Maybe even my 30’s.
I completed a neuropsychological evaluation a few weeks ago to diagnose ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
Among the tests was the IQ, more specifically the WAIS-III. It was incomplete because it lacked a metric related to spatial perception
Among the tests I've actually finished
Verbal component - 136
Working memory - 125
Processing Speed - 129
I'm a fairly disoriented person, and not very good at puzzles. Lack skills related to understanding how things work together so I think the missing components would score around 95~105 tbh
I think my average IQ would be lows 120s
I also did other tests not related to WAIS III
Vienna Matrices (I was percentile 99), and G-38 (percentil 95, 35 points)

So I a tually do remembrr my IQ, I just don’t want to share because I don’t want to be viewed according to some arbitrary intelligence metric. That said… all I will say is that my pattern recognition and spatial awareness are quite high (I am a student pureuing mathematicd in graduate school after all lol!(, and verbal processing is is a bit on the lower end.
Edit— If ever you wonder why my posts have so many typis, it’s because I’m usually on VGChartz during my morning walk, and the sun usually heats up my phone to a point where I can barely see the screen. This in addition to the actual device slowing down due to the Texas sun cooking the device, and yeah, it’s quite a challenge.

I don't know but I would say that my capability for critical thinking is notably above average while my capability for handling everyday stuff like traveling around a city is below average though the latter is a lot better than it was compared to say a decade ago.
