I will keep playing on Switch 2 and PS5 Pro. But I won't get the next PlayStation. Don't know if Nintendo will stick to physical next gen. But if they don't, I won't get their console. So in my head, I am fully prepared to just abandon gaming altogether. I'm just tired of all the bullshit in the industry.

Just today I rediscovered the beauty of downloading MP3s and putting them on my smartphone. No more streaming bullshit with monthly payments. I actually enjoy that step back into the past.

I'm actually tempted now to get a PS5 Pro if I can ever justify the cost or if it doesn't go above the current $900. Not planning on a PS6 anyway so it could be the grand finale for a new PlayStation console for me.

PS5: 116 million (was 105 million, then 115 million, then 122 million)

Xbox Series X/S: 38 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million. then 48 million. then 40 million)

Switch 2: 120 million (was 116 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

I'm hopeful Xbox will continue with physical but too early to tell. Will probably get back into PC gaming soon, still have and plan on purchasing some more Switch 2 games and will probably keep buying older games for PS4/Xbox one, PS5/Series X etc. It just doesn't sit right with me a console without any games, it makes the market a bit boring and makes a console feel like a device, like a phone or something rather than a console it's a shame

Steam and retro emulation. It will be cheaper in the long run.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
