=> Invest in some youtubers who then play some niche Retro game => The games prices will go up because everyone wants that game => Sell it for a lot of $$$ and use a part of that money to invest in some youtubers again.

I don't see nintendo going digital only for at least another generation if not more. So you'll probably just see nintendo having more of a presence in these stores as the main change in the short term.
Adapt or die, unfortunately. Thankfully, there will always be a market for physical collectors, and there are still retailers that will continue to be around, selling new/used physical media of all types. Whether movies, games, music, etc. I personally shop at Movie Trading Company/Vintage Stock. They range from small stores to almost warehouse sized locations, and they're always full of people.
There's little to no chance of Sony backtracking on an announcement of this size. So, it's just a matter of accepting it and moving on. Or switching to Nintendo platforms if you're that diehard for new physical games lol.
