We already have a real life version of this scenario playing out now, with Prince Muhammad Bone Sawman, who owns SNK in total, owns significant stakes in several other companies including Nintendo and Capcom, owns EVO, and is about to own EA, alongside a bunch of junior partners like Kushner.

If Rockstar games is selling GTA7 for $1M, that can only mean that they're going super broke and need a lot of money. So instead, I (being a billionaire) would just buy Rockstar and would then own the game too. And then I'd sell the game to everyone much cheaper than the standard cost of a game.

I mean, if I was a billionaire, and I could fund a game I wanted from scratch, I probably would. I would expect returns from it, though.

I barely pay $50 now. With that kind of money I might consider paying $100.
