Yes, there is a lack of good Switch2 exclusives

And on the other hand, it's probably still cheaper to buy the 1 TB Steam Deck plus the PC versions of many good non-exclusive games than the Switch 2 and the Switch2-versions of the same games.

nah they listed like six or seven solid exclusives in just the first 11 months of the system’s life. That sounds more like a Steam Deck issue than a NS2 issue. Also yeah definitely not wrong there— NS2 third party is quite costly compared to what you can get on Steam. It’s honestly quite insane the difference.

I would be curious, perhaps I should have looked, what they consider exclusive.  I have DK and MK..  everything else is cross generation, which is don't consider exclusive.

Doesn't matter, the price of the Deck is crazy to me, given it isn't that powerful.

Kirby Air Riders, Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment, Pokemon Pokopia, Mario Tennis Fever, and Yoshi & the Mysterious Book are the other listed exclusives besides MK World and DK Bananza.

Every game listed in the post is truly exclusive: there is no Switch 1 edition. If you include games with Switch 1 releases, then that would add MP4:Beyond, Pokémon Legends Z-A, and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream (though that’s technically a Switch 1 exclusive with backwards compatability on Switch 2).

yeah, that's gonna happen to all three consoles too, I'm afraid. If you think of buying one, I wouldn't wait too long tbh

Fair, thanks.  I forgot about those.  Fair.
