I'm getting the Tales of Arise port on the 22nd, but probably won't played it for ages as I still need to finish Indiana Jones, then play FF7 Rebirth, Fatal Frame 2 Remake, Total Chaos, then Starfox...

Did you finish FF7 Remake or are you skipping?

TOTK has been my time killer game for a while now but I'm just about to finish it. I'll probably get around to FH6 at some point. I'm looking forward to 007 next week and hope it turns out well.

I played TotK religiously at launch, but then took a long break and lost the cartridge :(

Finished FF7 Remake back in Feb; good game, liked it quite a bit.

Poor Yoshi. Looks like no one's playing it.

Nintendo increased prices this generation, which means I will be more selective.  Just my view.  $70 means a game has to be excellent, not just good.

They actually reduced their prices since last year, probably due to Mario Tennis Fever performing poorly at $70; Yoshi is $60; still a bit high IMO for what it is, but at least no longer $70. Starfox and Splatoon Raiders are also $50/$60.

I am seeing $70 physical and $60 for Yoshi.  Too steep for what it is.

Awesome. I hope you'll enjoy Rebirth as much as I did (not possible).

I read some retailers will match eshop prices, which is $60. Still more than I'd pay, but then honestly it's not my thing personally, it looks like its aimed very much at the "cosy game" crowd which isn't me, I need my games to push back a bit more and have action/stakes.

Thanks :)

I am keen to see where the story goes next, plus I found the core combat pretty good, plus of course the great soundtrack.

Yoshi is $60USD digital, matching the standard NS1 price for software. Accounting for inflation, it’s actually cheaper… though accounting for stagflation causing weakened CPP, consumers are tightening their belts.

I think, at least here, people are tightening their belts because everything is super expensive.  Fishing wise I swear by a Shadow Rap and Mirrodine, just a couple years ago they were $7 and $5.  Today they are $15 and $12.  Gas is up.  Food is up.  Everything is up, which is fine, but for me it means more emulation and less new games.  New games (at $60+ have to be top notch).

Yeah exactly what I was thinking. At least on my end, I know I’ve had to resort to budget gaming (and, well, budget spending on everything) for the first time in my whole life. It’s rough (economically) right now!
