No. In everyday life, there aren't really any opportunities for any meaningful gaming on the go, and when travelling, usually I don't have enough time. The only situation where any kind of gaming on the go might make sense is when I'm not driving, but that is very little, and usually I have some catching up to do (mainly news) when I do get such a chance - that, or I'm too tired and would rather try to rest while I have the chance.

Around the Network

Depends on what you mean by "on the go". I used to play games on the bus 15 or more years ago on my DS. But now I prefer bus time to be reading time. But I'll play games in a lot of other situations. If my wife drives, then I'll usually haul out the Switch(2) or Deck. If I drive my wife or kids to an appointment, I'll often stay in the truck and game. And of course I'll be playing something on a plane. I also take at least one handheld gaming device with me camping too. And of course I regularly play my handhelds at home while others are using the TV. Hell, the Switch was wonderful when we first had our twins and did nothing but sit and rock with them. Just good to have something to do while rocking the babies that wasn't doom scrolling. Handheld gaming is awesome and really suits my situation.

What I don't do is game while I'm doing something else and split my attention. That doesn't work for me. I still have to be able to focus on the games.

I get enough gaming, so when I am out in the world, I prefer to live in the moment there and enjoy the scenery. That said, when I go back to visit my family I will want a Switch 2 to play while at the airport and on the plane.

On long flights, I definitely play some Switch.

On shorter trips like a bus trip, I don't always game, but when I do, then it's on the Zelda Game&Watch, though that can be dangerous: I once forgot to get out at my station because I was in the middle of the fight with Helmethead...

Obviously when I am travelling, I propose myself to do other stuff than gaming, but it is always nice to carry something with you in case things dont go as planned and you are forced to settle down for a extensive period, like long traffic jams, sudden black-outs or unproper weather conditions.

When I had my first Switch, it became a revolution for me bc now I can have the whole videogame console experience on the go, like couch multiplayer gameplay. I have been collecting many more entertainment moments since then
