Reminded of how sad I was that Piranha Bytes were closed and another studio was given the development duties for Gothic Remake.
It’s always nice to see the original team involved in the remake and it was sad how this happened.

That first attempt of remake (with demo from 2019) was a shitshow, with no respect for original game. Luckily, community was loud enough for them to scrap everything and go back to drawing table. I found approach in new demo from last year to be pretty good - it's feels new, yet remains some of the necessary clunkiness of the original. I do expect...tourists...to be polite, to be fussy about it, but in the end it's irrelevant if original fans are satisfied and THQ makes profit.

Sounds relatively positive then.

Dang its June already? Oof. Yeah I expect my list to change a bit once everything is said and done with SGF, SoP, Xbox Presents, and the long fabled Nintendo Direct… looking forward to finally having OoT Remake as (1.) on my list for a few months.

Just going to post this data here. I'll be basing the points added to MW on logged in votes since someone used the anonymous voting to spike up the hype for Gothic

Yeah, that looks about right.
Gothic is cult classic among, let's say...traditional PC RPG gamers, especially in Europe, but it's not widely known among mainstream audience, so those poll results made no sense.

I mean, whoever boosted it was excited enough about it to rig a poll on a gaming website. I hope it lives up to their expectations but I needed to at least share the real results. 😂 

Yeah - honestly, polls around here are always prone to that, and why I think they should be login only - this is not IGN or Eurogamer that have polls with tens of thousands of votes, so cases like this can be somewhat mitigated by sheer number of votes.

I'm really looking forward to Dead or Alive 6 Last Round. Part 5 is a little old now, lol. Don't know how that ended up in the poll.

However, I'm even a little more excited for Star Fox. It's very rare that I'm looking forward to two games in just one month, so June should be a great month for me!
