Looks a lot like BS tbh

GTA VI will be a live service It's not only porting the game, it's about supporting it for years and supporting live services is expensive. It creates a envinronment where you need dedicated teams to release content regularly between different platforms

That's the reason why Switch 1 never got GTA V despite being perfectly capable of running it

GTA 6 is not coming out on S2. You guys can keep the hope alive all you want. You can do rain dances, pray, pull out the ol' voodoo dolls and even pour out some rum for Jobu. It ain't happening. Ever.

If you want to play GTA 6, you're going to have to fork out for another system or wait for the PC port. Or just play Zelda and Mario and be happy.

I sent you a private message, by the way.

Is this a missquote?

But on the subject of S1 getting plenty of ports, do you know which port it didn't it?

GTA 5.

Which ran on PS3.

I'm pretty sure SW could handle GTA 5, as you said: it ran on PS3 and SW is way better

The spec sheet also extends to things like media. Can you imagine a 95GB game? Unless Rockstar was going to put SSD cards in every physical copy, or ship them to digital purchasers, or split the game across like two or three carts, it would have literally been impossible for a base S1 owner to play it. It would have been a nightmare.

Rockstar has never released a mainline GTA title for a Nintendo console day-and-date for several reasons. There is no reason to believe it's not going to continue now, message-board vapor hype be damned.

There actually are Switch games that don't fit in internal storage and require an SD card to play:

Sigh. Sorry. Can you send me one, then? Something's messed up on my end.

Yes, I do. Several games on SW1 require SD cards to play. If my memory serves me right, NBA2k23 requires a 50GB download before it can be played. Yes, is less than 95GB, but I can't see any problem with that

Rockstar certainly has money and resources to make it happen, technically speaking. Whether or not it will actually happen is whole other issue.
