Even if he was made on top of the actual Lucario 3D model I still would disagree with you. Looking at it doesn't make me thing about Lucario at all, it makes me think about Anubis and Egypy, that design is 100% ok.

Edit: @Cerebralbore101 just saw your reply, take the above as my reply to you too, but I'll add a little more, Anubis like many other mythological figures has countless different interpretations and I can find many different ways it is depicted in modern fantasy that match the Palworld design very well, the clothes, the accesories, all of it is designed to make it resemble Egypt and Anubis and I wouldn't even think about Lucario without you guys telling me.

Unlike with what we see going on with the game in this thread, it immediatly makes me think of the exact figures they are clearly ripping off.

It's a blatant copy:

Certainly doesn't look like one to me.

At this point I can only assume you're being intentionally disingenuous, it is very obviously copied.

Other than having the same colour pallet and being a thin bipedal canide, saying it is a copy is a stretch. It took as inspiration, that can be take for certain by putting side by side and knowing the whole context

It's scarcely less blatant than Pickmon tbh, to the point where it looks like they started with the exact same model and made some tweaks.

Both have a snout with a convex downward slope from the forehead and ends in a pointy nose. Both have the same headsize to height ratio. Both have ears that are close together and stick straight up. Lucario has a type of raccoon-mask pattern with a single vertical line drawing the viewers eyes to the center of the face. Anubis has a cowl pattern with a medallion that also draws the viewer's eyes to the center of the face. Both have oversized hands. Both have thighs that are disproportionate to the upper torso.

It's blatant plagiarism and if you disagree then you need to pick up a principles of design book.

Some things really just can't change, can they?

Believe it or not, your opinion is as absurd sounding to me as mine is to you, I can hardly believe you are being serious, but I would rather just keep it on topic, well, that's about as far as it'll get from me for now, I won't resort to also becoming offensive for no reason instead of simply disagreeing.

Next time don't expect me to reply, and that's the best I can offer.
