Forums - Politics - "Operation Epstein Fury" - US and Israel Unprovoked invasion of Iran

UK is also very much part of Operation Epstein Fury

We visited RAF Fairford and Welford on Tuesday to investigate how Donald Trump is using these bases to bomb Iran.

At Welford, near Swindon, anti-war activist Peter Burt showed us a sprawling network of bunkers and earth works specially designed to store 2,000lb bombs. These are then taken by lorry to RAF Fairford on the other side of Swindon to be loaded onto American B-1 and B-52 war planes bound for Iran.

Despite being in the English countryside, the military bases at Welford and Fairford are both operated by the US.

UK sends drone defence systems to the Gulf

The air defence system is called Rapid Ranger – a short-range system that is designed to counter drones, with a range of about 8km and suitable to be deployed against fast-moving targets.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed the deployment with the crown prince of Kuwait on Friday morning.

It is one of a number of military assets in the Gulf region – another system is heading towards Saudi Arabia, where it will be integrated into the wider Saudi defence systems.

We have had an operational update from the UK Ministry of Defence that an RAF Regiment gun has operated in a high-threat area and successfully downed multiple Iranian drones.

That's only going to extend the war and make the economic fallout worse. Stay out of it Starmer.

Trump seeks $1.5 trillion defence boost amid escalating Iran tensions

US President Donald Trump has requested Congress to increase defence spending by an astonishing $1.5 trillion.

Though the move comes amid the war with Iran, Trump and his hawkish cabinet have long pushed allies to increase their defence budgets, and he has also said he wants to raise US military spending further.

That's only $9,000 per US tax payer, bargain to commit war crimes.

Trump claims US can easily open the Strait of Hormuz

In a post on Truth Social, US President Donald Trump has said with a “little more time, we can easily OPEN THE HORMUZ STRAIT, TAKE THE OIL, & MAKE A FORTUNE”.

“IT WOULD BE A “GUSHER” FOR THE WORLD???,” he added.

The B1 bridge damaged in a US-Israeli strike on April 2

The strike on the bridge happened yesterday while Iranians were celebrating the Day of Nature – when families traditionally are out of their homes and some were in the vicinity of the targeted area. At least eight people were killed and 95 injured.

We know that it isn’t the only infrastructural damage in the city of Karaj, which witnessed several hours of blackouts over the past few nights as a result of the attacks on the city’s energy infrastructure.

We know that it was also a double-tap strike – which is two strikes on the same target.

The bridge wasn't even finished, absolutely no strategic value. When is the media going to stop with 'might be a war crime', open your fucking eyes. Even a toddler can see there are no rocket launchers moving over an unfinished bridge.

Meanwhile Israel is also targeting bridges and water infrastructure in Lebanon, cutting off the South of the country and making it inhabitable. Just hitting schools, hospitals and mosques isn't satisfying enough anymore.

The IDF also injured people in Syria with tank fire and in Gaza with more bombing.

Iran rightfully rejected the 48 hour 'ceasefire' plea from the US (likely to get their downed pilot out). Israel isn't going to stop anyway. The only way this war ends is if someone stops Netanyahu and restrains Israel.

Regarding to calling this propaganda:

Israel has been working since it's illegal inception to define truth as propaganda and lies as fact. Now the world starts to discover what's what again since the masks are off Bibi and Trump.

Meanwhile Europe still backs the US/Israel and designated the IRGC as a terrorist organization in February, while ignoring the role of Israel in turning the January protests violent in Iran, economic protests that started end December as a reaction to the even harsher sanctions US/EU imposed on Iran after the previous illegal attack on Iran by Israel in the 12 day June war.

"The Iranian rial experienced a severe collapse in late December 2025 and early January 2026, reaching a record low of approximately 1.5 million per US dollar. Driven by intense international sanctions, the Twelve-Day War, and rising tensions, this collapse sparked nationwide protests and worsened chronic inflation, causing the currency to lose over 800% of its value since 2020"

US unfinished business playing out now, remember this:

"During the 1980–1988 Iran-Iraq War, the United States adopted a policy of supporting Iraq to prevent an Iranian victory, providing billions in economic aid, dual-use technology, intelligence, and military training. While officially neutral, the U.S. sought a stalemate, though it secretly violated its own arms embargo against Iran (the Iran-Contra affair) while aiding Saddam Hussein"

"During Iran-Iraq War, Iraq extensively used chemical weapons against Iranian troops and civilians, violating the 1925 Geneva Protocol. Iraq deployed over 101,000 chemical munitions, including mustard gas and nerve agents (tabun, sarin), causing tens of thousands of casualties and marking the first-ever combat use of nerve agents"

That's who US sided with and supported until Saddam Hussein's ego got too big to control. Plus Saddam Hussein didn't have his own Aipac to control congress and tried to take Kuwait's oil. If Iraq had invaded Syria I doubt the US would have entered the gulf wars.

Iran has been preparing for round two since 1988 and will easily last another 8 years of Israel/US bombing.

Spent 1 A-10, 2 C-130s, and 4 helos just to pick up 2 guys. The rescue mission had more losses than the mission that needed rescuing.

Ok, Trump saying that destroying the infrastructure of Iran won't be a war crime because they are "animals" is one of the most disgusting things this dude ever said.

Destroying the infrastructure will hit everyone and probably those who are against the regime even more because they will be the last to get help in Iran. So "not a war crime because they are animals" includes everyone.

"we will destroy every bridge and power plant"

Have to say, why does he speak like that and why will USA do war crimes as if it would be a Sunday's barbecue with family? Because no country on earth will change anything about their trade and relations with USA. That's the biggest problem, that politicians on this planet just don't have the balls to react to USA as they would do to any other country doing something like that.

Many will complain but nobody will change anything.

Iran warns that US AI center in Abu Dhabi is "within range of Iranian missiles"

Iran threatened to strike an artificial intelligence center in the United Arab Emirates after an airstrike targeted Tehran’s Sharif University of Technology on Monday morning, the semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported.

The strike damaged the university’s computing center and GPU facility, which provides infrastructure to the country’s AI capabilities, according to Tasnim, which is affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The outlet highlighted that the US’s “Stargate” AI center in Abu Dhabi, which is being developed with OpenAI, Oracle and Nvidia, is “within range of Iranian missiles.”

“Iran has identified this as a strategic target and considers itself entitled to respond reciprocally under its legal rights,” the news agency said.

The threat follows a warning from Maj. Gen. Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi, the commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters in Tehran, who cautioned that the “gates of hell will be opened upon you” if Iran’s infrastructure continues to face attacks.

Meanwhile Trump is having a temper tantrum again

Trump lambasts NATO, Australia, Japan, South Korea for ‘not helping’ with war on Iran

Trump has directed harsh criticism at NATO and several key US allies he claims have not helped the US in its war with Iran.

Speaking at a press conference, he repeated his frequent criticism that NATO is a “paper tiger,” and also singled out Australia, Japan and South Korea, saying they “didn’t help us”.

“Weve got 50,000 soldiers in Japan to protect them from North Korea,” Trump said. “We have 45,000 soldiers in South Korea.”

Trump then commended some Persian Gulf nations, admitting that their involvement is related to their proximity to the conflict: “Saudi Arabia has been excellent, Qatar has been excellent, UAE has been excellent, Bahrain, Kuwait.”

And confirms he's using the gulf states to stage attacks on Iran, thus legitimizing Iran targeting US assets in these countries.

The US had a long history in War crimes. In fact, the reason some high-ranking officials of Nazi Germany didn't get convicted in Nuremberg was because since the US were doing the same, it would have been too awkward to convict the German for a crime but not the American despite doing the same thing. The most well-known one is probably the trial of Karl Dönitz, the Head of the Kriegsmarine.

The prosecutor wanted to convict him due to issuing the Laconia order, which stated that Germans won't search for survivors and supply them lifeboats and food supplies anymore as they're supposed to be. But in doing so, the German defense exposed what lead to this, as in an American bomber bombing a rescue operation while the submarines were flying Red Cross flags (which makes them ineligible for attacks; attacking them anyway is a massive war crime. Unless an ambulance or any vehicle or person with a red cross fires at you, you are absolutely forbidden to attack them) and radioing in clear without code to the allies in the region to allow them to help them save as many humans as possible from the sinking.

American bombers ignored all those rules of engagement and bombed the rescue convoi twice, resulting in about 1500 dead. The British officer taken on board of one of the German U-boats was ranting furiously over the radio as this endangered many british sailors and was totally against all customs of sea warfare.

W, they couldn't nail Dönitz for the unrestricted submarine warfare because the US where employing it since day 1 against the Japanese, too, and the US were not rescuing survivors right from the start, resulting in the high-ranking Kriegsmarine Admirals to be convicted on the count, but simply couldn't give them any sentence as the US did the same, and started doing so before the Germans did.
