It's exactly as many experts predicted it would go, extrapolating from the 12 day June war. It's not like Iran hasn't been telling what they would do long before Trump/Netanyahu attacked.
It's definitely not going like Trump/Netanyahu and the main stream media presented it would go (and are still misleading the public of what's really going on)
Iran didn't 'give up' last June, they showed full restraint and went back to diplomacy despite being attacked, putting their last faith in the UN / international community. Warning next time they would not hold back. Iran is doing exactly as they said they would if attacked again. Iran already showed they could deplete US defenses in 12 days last June. They thought that was enough deterrence to stop Israel trying again.
Now who knows when this will end... Iran's demands are US to leave their bases in the ME, Trump's demands are unconditional surrender, Netanyahu wants more chaos and is trying to pit the gulf states / Saudi Arabia against Iran. Billionaires are making money from the higher prices and stock market swings. The military industrial complex is making money and soon getting more tax payer money to spend.
Russia and China are benefiting from this war as well, higher oil prices less sanctions for Russia while Russia helps Iran with intelligence, trade ties for China (who is still getting oil from Iran) who are also helping Iran, plus US is depleting/cannibalizing their military in the South China Sea which opens the door for China to annex Taiwan...
Europe is standing by on the sidelines, not officially supporting the war but still helping US/Israel behind the curtains. So far NATO is staying out of it. Ukraine, Lebanon and Gaza are the biggest losers of this war, forgotten while Russia and Israel have free reign to do whatever they want. Plus the people in Israel are now in as much danger as those in Iran and Lebanon.

It went exactly as anybody with more than two working brain cells thought. Iran is several times larger than Iraq, both in land area and population, and the country is not as in favor of nation building as the Trump administration and certain members of this site want people to believe. The U.S. has never gone to war with a country that large.

They are already getting sued by Nintendo over their refusal to refund the tariffs the Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional. I guess they want a second lawsuit too.

Israel Katz already announcing how Lebanon will lose territory to Israel. Surprise!
Trump likely to ‘call off’ war in two weeks: Former US envoy
Elliot Abrams, who served as special envoy for Venezuela and Iran during Trump’s first term, says Trump has two options for ending the war in Iran.
“Either there is some kind of uprising against the regime or in probably a week or two, the president will call it off. He will say we’ve hit all the targets we planned to hit and now it’s over,” said Abrams during an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour.
“I think it’s more likely that he will just call it off,” said Abrams, who also served as a senior fellow for Middle Eastern studies at the Council on Foreign Relations.
Abrams said that this was the more likely option because he claimed that while “the people of Iran really hate it [the current Iranian government] … that doesn’t tell us whether it’s going to fall in a week or five years.”
What is President Trump’s Iran exit strategy? His fmr. envoy Elliott Abrams says “either there is some kind of an uprising against the regime or in probably a week or two, the president will call it off” and say they’ve hit all they need to. The latter, he thinks, is more likely. pic.twitter.com/CGyOYD0YcK

‘Trump was duped by Netanyahu’: Iran’s Ghalibaf
Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, says the war will continue until the US and Israel come to regret it.
“Trump was duped by Netanyahu into starting the war and is now acting under his control,” Ghalibaf said in a social media post. “Regarding the major crime they have committed, Iran no longer makes ‘any distinction’ between the United States and the Zionist regime.”
Meanwhile CNN shifts the blame to Israel, Iran won't see it that way.
CNN Investigates: Tehran toxic air calls proportionality of Israeli strikes into question
A CNN analysis of satellite imagery and air quality data shows Israeli strikes at fuel facilities across Tehran last weekend spiked pollution levels, ignited fires and caused oil spills, leading experts to call into question the proportionality of the military’s actions under international law amid criticism from environmental experts and health officials.
The Israeli military accepted responsibility for the strikes but said the facilities were used by “military forces of the Iranian terrorist regime,” which provides fuel to “various consumers, including military entities in Iran.”
Legal expert Craig Jones, a senior lecturer at England’s Newcastle University, told CNN this justification was problematic and said it would likely not meet the threshold of having a “direct military advantage.”
“There are very few nations on earth that would agree that that’s a legitimate military target,” Jones said.
