It was suppose to solve the question of which franchise made a comeback after a poor start. It did not do that. Narrowing it via meta scores would have.

Not a poor first game, but Uncharted 2 trounces the first Uncharted in ever way.

Meta scores aren't any kind of objective metric, they're just the average of the opinions of a select few people in a world of 8 billion.

Its for people to discuss their opinions not for some rigorous scientific analysis. And people seem to be fine with this except for some people who want to complain that other people aren't internetting right. Which is weird but I'm not here to tell anyone how to live their lives.

II was a good game just not the runaway success of III. So not sure it counts when it took to get to a third game to take off. GTA1 wasn't even bad. 

Knack. If they ever make a Knack 3 and it matches the jump in quality from Knack 1 to Knack 2 then it will be the GOAT.
